Virtual Innovation Program, Week Three Recap

Global Cold Chain Alliance's third week of the Virtual Innovation Program offered eight education essentials sessions and several collaborative B2B meetings. As announced last week, the B2B Meetings portion of the program will be extended. The window to hold meetings will now run through the end of the VIP program concluding November 10. There are 40 companies with B2B Meeting Suites participating in the program. In addition to receiving invitations, attendees can also send invitations to companies who have products, services, and different technologies or equipment that they would like to learn more about.   • Government Affairs Update**, led by GCCA’s Senior Vice President of Government and Legal Affairs, Lowell Randel
  • Evaluating and Choosing a Warehouse Refrigeration System**, led by Vice President of Engineering at United States Cold Storage, Inc., Michael Lynch and CEO of Republic Refrigeration, Inc., Walter Teeter
  • Perspectivas Economías en Latinoamérica en respuesta a Pandemia, led by Independent Consultant, Luis Antonio Velásquez Quiroa
  • Liability Issues Post-COVID, led by Kevin Phillips, Partner at Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary

Excluding vendor/supplier conversations, all education essential sessions are accessible through the Sessions on Demand library in the VIP platform. Sessions noted with (**) are eligible for Professional Development Hours (PDH) through a GCCA partnership with the Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA). These PDH can be used to fulfill RETA certification renewal requirements. More information about PDH through RETA is available online.
