Progress on U.S.–Mexico–Canada Agreement Made

GCCA welcomes progress made toward the passing of the U.S.–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA). An agreement between the Trump administration and House Democrats on modifications across four areas of the USMCA were signed across: enforcement, labor, environment and access to medicines. The next step will be for the Trump administration to send a final bill to Congress, followed by votes by the House of Representatives and the Senate.

For the changes to which the Trump administration and House Democrats agreed, read the House Ways and Means Committee fact sheet.
