GCCA Welcomes Sea-Invest and Honeywell

GCCA welcomed two new members in the first quarter of 2022 – logistics operator Sea-Invest (Flanders Cold Center) in Belgium, specializing in fresh and frozen fruits and other food products; and equipment supplier Honeywell from Spain specializing, amongst others, in low-global-warming-potential refrigerants and solutions.

SEA-invest is a privately owned group specializing in stevedoring, transport, warehousing and other port related activities. The group operates in 24 ports across eight countries on two continents.

Its Belgian division Flanders Cold Center (FCC) offers ample warehouse and logistics facilities for Fruit & Food products:

  • Crossdocking of frozen and chilled cargo
  • Storage capacity for deep-frozen products (-20°)
  • Storage and handling of fruit juice, vegetables, meat, fish and others
  • EC approved inspection point
  • Fully controlled by WMS with real time barcode scanning

“The GCCA membership enables FCC (Flanders Cold Center), as part of the SEA-invest group, to join a professional community of like-minded partners in the cold chain industry,” says Sonia Montes, Commercial Director. “We value the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with peers through enriching network events; to access interesting market reports and resources; and to create even more visibility to potential customers,” Montes adds.
