GCCA Member Promotes Cold Chain Growth in Central Asia
Author: Laura Poko

GCCA member, Matthew Meredith of LixCap, traveled to Almaty, Kazakhstan on May 26 to spend about two weeks supporting cold chain development. Specifically, he will work with a USAID-funded project to help develop specific activities for growth in five Central Asian countries: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and to a lesser extent given its recent success in developing refrigeration capacity and growing exports, Uzbekistan. On June 3, Matt will be joined by GCCA regional representative, Mumin Isamiddinov. Both experts will present at events in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. These activities build on prior work led by Richard Tracy in 2017.
