Cambodia Market Systems and Partnerships Support from WFLO

The World Food Logistics Organization, a core partner of the Global Cold Chain Alliance, was awarded a subcontract from Khmer Cold Chain Company (KCCC) supporting the Cambodia Feed the Future Market Systems and Partnerships (MSP) activity. This cold chain project is owned by InfraCo Asia and developed by Infunde Development Pte Ltd, in partnership with Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP) and USAID.

This is a follow-on activity to the previous Owner’s Engineer Add-On and Cambodian Cold Chain Feasibility Study, carried out in 2021 and 2019 respectively. After the successful completion of these two projects with Infunde Development Co. and GCCA member LixCap, WFLO will support the design build processes involved in the construction of a cross-dock facility at LM17 outside of Phnom Penh with Khmer Cold Chain Company.

The Owner’s Engineer Design Build Advisory Service will utilize the cold chain expertise of several GCCA members. The WFLO team will review and validate drawings and pricing, identify missing information, and recommend modifications to the owner’s engineer. This way, WFLO will ensure the designs are rooted in efficiency and respect both international best practices and regional realities.

To learn more about this and other international projects we are engaged in, please contact our International Projects Manager, Madison Jaco (mjaco@gcca.org).
