July 25, 2011

WASHINGTON, DC, July 25, 2011 – The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) launched a completely redesigned and enhanced website this week. The website www.gcca.org , now seamlessly integrates the websites of the four GCCA core partners: the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW), the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO), the International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA), and the International Association for Cold Storage Construction (IACSC).

"The redesign of the website is an important part of our mission to unite the various sectors of the global cold chain industry,” said GCCA President and CEO Bill Hudson. "By integrating all core partners into one website, the website now effectively reflects how GCCA is connecting this vital industry by uniting partners.”

The new website is now completely searchable, features improved navigation and functionality, and contains comprehensive information about GCCA and all of its core partners. In addition, the website includes a comprehensive industry events calendar and a searchable industry directory.

The new design also provides additional resources to members of GCCA core partner organizations. A primary goal of the redesign was to increase the amount of member resources available online and improve the accessibly to those resources. Members will now be able to search, download, print, and send technical manuals, business intelligence reports, and current news.

“The new www.gcca.org is easier for members to use,” said Hudson. “It greatly improves the experience of members and non-members alike.”
