Corey Rosenbusch, CAE, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), has been announced as the recipient of two prestigious association professional awards.

He is a recipient of The Association Forum of Chicagoland and USAE’s inaugural Forty Under 40® award. The program recognizes 40 association and nonprofit professionals who are under the age of 40 and demonstrate strong leadership skills and potential, along with a solid commitment to the association industry. The inaugural class of honorees was selected from nearly 150 applicants.

Rosenbusch has also been selected by Association Trends as a 2013 Young & Aspiring Association Professional. Nominated by senior executives and peers for their contributions and leadership, the Young & Aspiring Association Professionals represent the present and future of association management. Awardees must be younger than 40 and active and well-respected in the association community.

“I am humbled by these awards and would like to express my sincere appreciation to my peers for their nomination and my mentor, GCCA CEO Bill Hudson, for his invaluable guidance and support throughout my career,” said Rosenbusch. “I look forward to giving back through mentoring up-and-coming association professionals to ensure that a strong and solid pipeline of talent is available to the association community for years to come.”

As GCCA President and COO, Rosenbusch works closely with association leaders to provide programs and services that strengthen the global cold chain industry. He was recognized for several accomplishments including, growing membership by 33%, launching three international offices,  building partnerships with European and Australian associations, and operating surpluses and expanding services during a down economy.

Before joining the association, Rosenbusch served as the director of a Texas A&M University cold chain development project in Indonesia. He also worked with leading food industry executives in his role as President of the National FFA Organization (Future Farmers of America).
