LIMA, PERU, DECEMBER 5, 2018 - The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and its Core Partner the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) are proud to announce the winner of the 2018 Latin American Future Leader Award - Fernando León Rodríguez, Subdirector of Bajo Cero Frigoríficos.

The award was presented by Corey Rosenbusch, President and CEO of GCCA, and Paul Henningsen, President of Henningsen Cold Storage and Chairman of World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO), at the GCCA Latin American Cold Chain Congress in Lima, Peru on November 13, 2018.

"I thank GCCA for the opportunity they gave us to compete for the Latin American Future Leader Award,” said Fernando León Rodríguez. “This was an amazing experience for me, and I also thank Bajo Cero for supporting me in this journey."

For two consecutive years, the Latin America Future Leader Award has recognized outstanding young professionals in the Latin American cold storage industry. Rodríguez will compete with other young leaders from around the world for the global GCCA NextGen Award at Global Cold Chain Expo, taking place June 10-12, 2019 at McCormick Place in Chicago IL, US.  The GCCA NextGen Award seeks to recognize and reward future leaders in the temperature-controlled logistics industry worldwide.
