Global Cold Chain Alliance Promotes Brian Lynch and Three Others and Adds New Staff in Key Roles

The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) is pleased to announce several staff promotions: Brian Lynch as Executive Vice President, Business Development and Executive Director of the Controlled Environment Builders Association (CEBA); James Rogers as Vice President, Business Development; Katie Sastre as Manager, Business Development; and Madison Jaco as Manager, International Programs. 

“Each of these individuals has played a significant role in the growth of GCCA and enhancement of our programs and services for our members across the globe over the past 18 months,” states Matthew R. Ott, M.S., FASAE, CAE, CMP, GCCA President & CEO. “I look forward to continuing to work with all of them on our efforts to support GCCA’s core partner organizations and the cold chain industry.”

Brian Lynch joined GCCA in July 2020 as Senior Vice President, Business Development and led efforts to enhance member value through the addition and enhancement of programs and events in North America. In his new role, he will add international business development responsibilities and will serve in a newly created role as CEBA Executive Director where he will work closely with the GCCA President & CEO and CEBA Board of Directors on the development of strategy and growth initiatives benefiting members in the controlled environment construction, design, and building segment.

James Rogers has been promoted to the role of Vice President, Business Development. James has been with the organization for 14 years serving in numerous membership, marketing, and business development roles most recently serving as Senior Director of Business Development. GCCA has also promoted Katie Sastre to Manager of Business Development and Madison Jaco to Manager of International Programs. 
 
In addition to these promotions, GCCA has also added two new staff members. Lydia Barr has joined GCCA as Coordinator of Education and Programs and will report to Brian Lynch.  Lydia served in event, programming and communication roles at the TRSA the Association for Linen, Uniform and Facility Services Industry and American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG). Ecaterina (Kate) Leonova joins GCCA as Finance Coordinator and will report to GCCA’s Chief Financial Officer, Omizak Kadirbergenov.
