February 7, 2023 (Arlington, VA) – The Controlled Environment Building Association (CEBA) announces its new Board of Directors roster which was effective as of January 1, 2023. The announcement of the individuals representing CEBA member companies joining and being re-nominated to the Board was made in front of a record 400+ attendees during the closing general session of the CEBA Annual Conference and Expo held this past November in Florida.  The 2023 CEBA Conference and Expo will be held November 11-14^th at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs). 

With recent by-law changes, the CEBA Board of Directors will be made up of three categories of members – General, Associate and Affiliate. The General category includes design, build and thermal contractors. The Associate category includes suppliers and subcontractors, and Affiliate is for end-users – warehouses, food companies and other operators of controlled environment buildings. The Board formally established these categories to ensure all sectors of the controlled environment building industry are represented in leadership positions and shaping the future of the association and continue its accelerated growth over the years.  Through a reinforced value proposition, CEBA grew topline revenues 26%+ year over year in 2022, achieving a cumulative doubling of both dues and non-dues revenues over the last 5 years.

Board members starting in January include:

Board Members – General Members (2 year term/filling vacancies)

• Bobby Degregorio, ESI Group USA and Brian Osterloh, ARCO Design/Build

Board Members – General Members (3 year term)

• Larry Gilliland, SubZero Constructors and Shane Potts, Metl-Fab, Inc.

Board Members – Associate Members (3 year term)

• Eric Finnerty, Vapor Armour; Vince Humphreys, Ahern Fire Protection (renominated) 
• Kurt Liebendorfer, Evapco, Inc.; Kate Lyle, Ware Malcomb; and Natalia Rizzatti, All Weather Insulated Panels

Board Members – Affiliate Members (3 year term)

• Burnie Taylor, Arcadia Cold Storage & Logistics

The Executive Committee will remain unchanged with the following individuals serving out the second year of their two-year appointment: Chairman - Marko Dzeletovich, Coldbox; Vice Chairman - Sam Tippmann, Ti Cold; Treasurer - Scott Guimond, Fisher Construction Group; and Past Chairman - Vince Free, FREEZ Construction.
