Global Cold Chain Expo is pleased to offer a discounted room rate of $279 for single or double occupancy, exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, currently 17.4%. The cut-off date to book a room is June 4, 2018, or while rooms last.
All exhibitors are expected to begin dismantling their displays at 4:01p.m. on Wednesday, June 27. Any exhibitor who begins dismantling before this time will lose booth seniority for future Global Cold Chain Expo shows.

All carriers must be checked in by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday for move-out that day. All displays must be dismantled and removed from the exhibit hall by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28.
Exhibitors using their own full-time staff may perform work in a booth of any size. You are permitted to use your own ladders or hand tools, cordless tools and power tools. You are not permitted to use scooters, forklifts, pallet jacks, motorized dollies or similar motorized or hydraulic equipment. For completed details on your rights as an exhibitor, please refer to the McCormick Place Exhibitor Bill of Rights. Exhibitors are also permitted to load/unload materials from automobiles and small utility vehicles (ASUV Program) at designated McCormick Place docks using your own non-motorized, non-hydraulic hand trucks and dollies. For more information about the ASUV program and to register your vehicle, refer to the ASUV program and procedures form. *Exhibitor Rights do not apply to Exhibitor Appointed Contractors
Exhibitor Appointed Contractors are companies or individuals who are not full-time permanent employees of the exhibiting firm. They are hired to provide on side services in the exhibit hall and do not represent any of the official contractors. Any exhibitor who plans to use a contractor not identified on the Official Contractors List must complete and submit the Notice of Intent to Use an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor by April 15, 2018.
Please note: EACs are required to submit the EAC Agreement Form, Certificate of Insurance to Global Cold Chain Expo and register with McCormick Place before they will be given permission to work on the show floor. The deadline to receive these forms is April 15, 2018. Lastly, all EACs are required to follow the Global Cold Chain Expo Exhibitor Rules & Regulations as well as any rules pertaining to EAC companies outlined by McCormick Place. All forms regarding EACs can be found in the Display Rules & Regulations section.
Each exhibitor is required to secure adequate insurance protection against loss of and/or damage to equipment and/or display materials from any cause and against injury to any persons or property of others. The certificate must be provided from the exhibitor in the name of the Exhibiting Company to include Global Cold Chain Expo, Freeman, The City of Chicago and the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority for McCormick Place Convention Center as additional insureds. A sample insurance certificate is under the Display Rules & Regulations section. GLOBAL COLD CHAIN EXPO MUST RECEIVE ALL INSURANCE CERTIFICATES NO LATER THAN APRIL 22, 2018.
Global Cold Chain Expo will provide general exhibit hall security on a 24-hour basis starting on June 25 at 12:00 a.m. through move-out day on June 28 at 4:30 p.m. Exhibitors must wear their badges during move-in, show days and move-out hours for access to the exhibit floor. Exhibitors are encouraged to take whatever precautions they feel necessary to protect valuable materials and equipment, neither of the entities mentioned in the Insurance Exhibitors Liability section above may be held liable for damaged or stolen property. During the installation and dismantling days, all personnel employed by your company may gain access to the exhibit floor either with an official convention name badge or a special installation and dismantling wristband. A security desk will be set up and will be distributing wristbands to approved EAC companies. All persons must have a convention name badge by Monday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m.
No installation and dismantling crew members or technicians will be permitted to exhibit the floor during show hours without the proper convention name badge supplied by the exhibiting company. These badges should be ordered through your complimentary allotment of registration badges.
For unusual situations requiring admission at other times, approval must be obtained from Global Cold Chain Expo Show Management, who can be contracted through the Global Cold Chain Expo security provider.
